Fan Letters

A couple of my clients have sent letters. Here is what they are saying…

To whom it may concern,

I am a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker, with a license to buy and sell real estate in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I’ve been selling and buying homes, land and investment properties for my clients since 1996. During the summer of 2006 while vacationing in Colorado, my wife and I decided to take a serious look at properties in Steamboat Springs. We have stayed in Steamboat on a number of occasions and after researching the market decided that Steamboat offered an opportunity for a sound investment in Real Estate and a perfect setting for family vacations and memories.

During a visit to some new properties under construction I met Sharon Martin, who offered to show me various properties I might be interested in. Sharon spent the next three days with me, my wife and son looking at properties. After three days we decided to make an offer on a property. The offer was rejected and we returned to Minnesota. Over the next two months Sharon continued to stay in communication and research available properties which she felt were within our guidelines. Sharon not only stayed in contact with us, but was also in contact with the listing agent of the property we made our original offer on. To make a long story short, we were able to make another offer and after three or four counters purchased the property we now own.

Selling is all about service and Sharon was hard working, patient, courteous and went beyond our expectations for follow up and after sale service. As an agent, I am aware of the importance of service and its importance in customer satisfaction and future referrals.

I would use Sharon again and will refer her to friends or clients I work with that are interested in the Steamboat Springs area. She would make a great agent for anyone who wants service foremost in their agent’s qualifications.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am one happy customer! I had a fortunate chance meeting with a true service providing realtor. I was so very lucky.

I had been looking into Steamboat’s real estate market for a second home. I had used two other realtors who were very nice individuals, yet weren’t Steamboat educated, and provided poor follow-up once I left town. I met Sharon Martin while looking for one of the “cave hot springs” with my kids, and while she was on a doggie walk with her sister. Quick conversation discovered several common links and a business card, so easily suggested. An e-mail follow-up, a phone call follow-up, some e-mails suggestions and questions, and off I was with someone very ready to provide long-distance assistance home hunting. No pressure, no dominance, no absence of information and attention to detail.

Sharon was ever present, and ever pleasant. One of the best people I’ve worked with on a task. Even though it took some time to unveil our real domain of interest by looking at a wide variety of homes, townhomes, condos, in all areas of town, with wide price ranges, we were able to narrow down easily our purchase once we found it. And much of what was looked at needed perspective from a building and rental point of view (things of which we have no experience, but Sharon did). She was able to kindly suggest and help digest many properties, and able to read in to our ultimate desires. A few bumps always present themselves and they were taken in stride by Sharon. She never answered a question in a “sort of fashion”; if she didn’t have the answer, she contacted her broker speedily, and returned responses quite rapidly. Presence and service embody Sharon’s work ethic and philosophy. She is so personable and service oriented, yet seemed also like a good friend.

Even after our purchase, Sharon has been providing service to us in many ways. I will recommend her to anyone and everyone, sellers, and buyers since she is always at each viewing of a property. I would feel 100% confidence in this referral as well. It is with great respect that I would recommend her, because she is tops in service and availability and presence. She is realistic, fun, reliable, steady and true to her profession. She is my realtor and my Steamboat connection. I wish her continued success and feel she will make that success happen by her interest and desire of her profession. She is a treasure in the business of realtors.

Sincerely,
Kim Vonk
