Travelers in the early 1900s visited Steamboat Springs in the summer months for the natural hot springs and vast hunting and fishing opportunities. Today spring, summer and fall activities include river rafting through town, alpine slide, water slide, three championship golf courses, an indoor-outdoor tennis center, ballooning, boating, concerts, biking, hiking, kayaking, inner-tubing, fly fishing, waterskiing and horseback riding. Winter activities include, Downhill and telemark skiing, sledding, hiking, fishing, hot-tubbing, shopping, dining, soaking in the hot springs, ballooning, snowmobiling, spa-ing, cross country skiing and après skiing in front of a roaring fireplace. There's something for everyone to do in all 4 seasons.
